Process Summer Academy Excellence

The Summer Academy Excellence Awards recognize outstanding students in our annual Process Philosophy Summer Academy, honoring academic excellence, intellectual rigor, and creative engagement with process thought. Prizes are granted at three levels — First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize — encouraging scholarly achievement and future leadership in ecological and philosophical studies.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic (before 2020), First Prize recipients were granted funded opportunities to spend three months in the United States as visiting scholars at the Center for Process Studies. Recipients of the Second and Third Prizes received financial awards in recognition of their academic achievement. These distinctions and opportunities are designed to support continued study in process philosophy and to foster international scholarly exchange.
